About Me

Introduction: Hi, I’m Ashley Bernadsky. Currently holding an associate degree in Computer Science with a graduate GPA of 3.6, I am on my way to completing my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at OSU. Despite my academic pursuits, my passion lies in the food industry.

Work Experience: I have dedicated almost 7 years to working in a Chinese dining restaurant, primarily as a server. This experience has equipped me with valuable skills in customer service, multitasking, and time management. In addition, I’ve worked at Chipotle as a Kitchen Manager for two years, gaining significant operational experience. I also spent a year at Rapid Fire Pizza as a manager, where I handled budgeting, loss control, and scheduling. Successfully, I managed to save 30% in waste, turning it into profit.

Challenges Faced: However, my time in the industry wasn’t without challenges. Unfortunately, there were instances of unfair employee treatment by the manager and inadequate training, negatively impacting my friends’ income. It was disheartening that I couldn’t do much about it.

Aspirations: Now, fueled by a desire for positive change, I am eager to transition into the role of a General Manager. My goal is to create a safe and empowering environment for both customers and employees
